Loft Talks #2: Dropping Out, Adventure, and Meaning

In the second episode of the Loft Talks: Ethics in the Valley. Abb Kappor, the co-founder and COO of Curu, dives into the importance of values and morals when it comes to entrepreneurship and innovation. From meditation, the importance of well-being and his professional approach to building a start-up, the conversation is a look into the 22 year-old mind driving the way people view credit. Kapoor sifts through hot technology topics (perhaps we’re late on the train, so cliches) such as Silicon Valley culture, living in RVs, and dropping out of school to pursue your dreams.

This episode of Loft Talks comes as the second installment in a series in collaboration with The Holt Fintech Accelerator. Thirteen startups including Curu are part the accelerator’s first cohort. Having had an amazing conversation with the two managing partners: Brendan Holt Dunn and Jan Arp. Our series shows Jans and Brendan’s vision for a better future through FinTech come to life.
