In May 2014, Quebecois multidisciplinary artist Herman Kolgen presented Seismik Performance at EM15, the fifteenth Mutek Festival in Montreal, Canada. The software developer and sculptor offered a spectacular combination of sounds and images, reflecting a fresh interpretation of the connection between humanity and nature. After exploring the impact of dust and water on the body in Dust and Inject, Kolgen connects the spectator with the seismic frequency of Earth, using software technology to artistic ends.
